No point trying to be tactical

I feel like if you are completely visually not visible the exact moment they spot, tree blowing covering when they spot, then it should not spot you.

Is there global spotting? I think global spotting got added at some point, but I haven’t been following the game closely lately. That’s a big problem if it is. 

At first, if you spotted enemies as an Infantry player, that would only spot them for your squad. You’d have to be Recon with the drone to spot for the team. Systems like this limit spotting and I think work pretty well.

The problem I see with trying to be tactical in this game is the spawning system. A single person turns into a squad instantly or a vehicle can transport basically the entire team if people get out. That’s the problem. You should only be able to spawn at the base, captured flags, squad leaders (maybe), and spawn beacons. Spawns need to be more limited. 

Sundance completely breaks this aspect of the game as well. Spend 2-3 minutes clearing out a flag that’s in a building, start heading to the next objective, and what’s that? A faint swooshing that the rest of your team ignores. Oh, it’s Sundance going back to the flag you just cleared, but now you’re almost at the next objective. Do you trust that your team will defend a flag or run back?

There’s no tactics in the game besides just spawning in big groups and overwhelming an objective.

Cheese Bunny hopping and slide shooting is rewarded and out performs any other technique so yeah Battlefield has 100% gone the way of COD and Fortnite. 

Squad perks are gone so squad streaks unlocking bonuses and squaddies going to the assigned attack or defend objective is 100% meaningless.

How can they just Willy nilly abandon an element of game play that was so amazing and that incentivized squad cooperation?

Hell they don’t even have the automatic feature that swaps squad lead if you ask for orders and none are given because the current  DICE team just doesn’t know their own franchise. Not that there’s any reason to boost squad playing specific objectives because again, squad streaks and the associated bonuses were completely abandoned. 

It’s obvious most current DIcE team or whoever is steering the direction of 2042 weren’t brought up playing Battlefield franchise games. 

I kind of agree with @JOGAGATYA. People are far too focused on K/D in this game where the guns aren't balanced and NOTHING is fair. If you know who Enders is (I know EA does lol) he claims that if you have a negative K/D you should quote, "uninstall." The failed logic here is that in order for people to have a high k/d, others need to have a low k/d. If you are a noob, focusing on k/d leads to camping and sniping, two practices that degrade the experience for other players significantly. If you are decent, you understand how the game is played, but your k/d is still low, you end up depressed and crying (like me). I feel like people have lost the goal of the game. Unless you are playing TDM, kills really shouldn't matter - that's why I hate that they are included in conquest scores. Its war. People die. You know what an actual challenge would be? teamwork. determination. problem solving skills. Things kills don't always show in this game. 
It doesn't help that 2042 has so many problems including:
Terribly balanced infantry weapons, Specialists out of which only 2 are useful, A class system implemented in a manner that provides no incentive to help your team (by fighting vehicles or passing out ammo/meds), Terrible Air Vehicle controls, Terrible air vehicle balance, terrible ground vehicle balance, Significant input delay, slow server connections, lag, terrible hitreg, maps with not enough cover, objective zones that allow teams to flank all the way behind other teams' back, lack of weapon variety, terrible gunplay, annoying specialists, bad graphics, and many others.

Personally I would be hard pressed to find many times where I think "Wow... that was a good game" to myself after a match. It's mostly, "Ughhhh why the heck did half of my hits get lost...". Anyways - 2042 (and partially because of streamers - but its not entirely their fault) has fostered an atmosphere similar to say, CS:GO or tarkov. Thats not battlefield. Battlefield should be a kind of "beer with the boys" game, not a sweaty competition where you end up just glad it is over.

Enders is a tool. I don't see how

someone can spend so much time

doing something and still be so negative and toxic about it. He needs to get out more. 

@Pompey_1983Being over the top is part of what people who have to put up a show to entertain others do.

The thing that the pro youtubers out there are damn right about is how much this game is about positioning more than being great at shooting.
