Enders is a tool. I don't see how
someone can spend so much time
doing something and still be so negative and toxic about it. He needs to get out more.
He is a streamer who farms kills. His stream would be very boring if he was just capping points, reviving, and resupplying.
That is the problem with this game, it has an identity crisis. All they want are the battlefield moments and viral clips, but that is not how 99% of normal players play the game.
Also, who cares about KD in this game? It is not hard to play on the edges and consistently have a KD over 10, or just hop in a vehicle or aircraft and farm kills all day.
Just a quick look at his stats, he has 929 captured objectives. In less time played, I have 10,029. That is all you need to know about how he plays.
Also, in regards to the topic. It is really hard with all the ways to be spotted. I don't mind the minimap spotting, but 3D spotting should only be for proximity or your squad, not the entire enemy team.
@AdamonicTo be fair, Enders is a killing machine (mostly as infantry) and very very good at playing BF. He is doing more for his team than the average BF-player, just by killing so many enemies (and he kills a lot).
If you can kill 50+ enemies in every game you play (often lots more in BT), with a KD at 5+, then you are doing a lot for your team and way more than people helping capping flags with a KD of 0.5.
And he has been very vocal in getting bugs fixed in the game regarding recoil, bad mouse-input etc. He also showed how to abuse Hind/Condor which was probably part of the reasons for the nerfs of these vehicles.
He is one of the few "good" youtuber-guys, many youtubers are not very critical of Dice, and he really flames Dice a lot regarding all the bad decisions in 2042.

I was talking more about playstyle. Most of the vids I have seen of him are him shredding unsuspecting noobs from behind (like most streamers) and the minute he dies, he ALT-F4s.
There is always a debate about kills vs OBJs. The game is centered around the objectives, and even if you clean house, you still need others to cap the flags. So both tactics are needed, but kills+OBJs is king IMO. In Conquest, you can have 100 kills and no deaths and lose if you don't cap any flags. On Breakthrough, the only team that has tickets is the attackers, so unless he is playing defense on Breakthrough (never does) or TDM, K:D has a lot less value.
I agree with his assessment of the game and glad he puts out the videos showing the shortcomings.

Back to the OP...
The game is so full of gimmicks and stupid game mechanics, that any kind of tactical play is negated. We have wingsuits, zip-lines, rangers, self-replenishing explosives, scatter-grenades etc etc etc, all these things make the game too chaotic and give each player tools that they shouldn't really have.
MacKay has changed the game-play a lot, Dice have even admitted that level-design is more complicated, just because of him.
We need simpler game-play with more focus on teamplay. A "clown-shooter" can work in a 5v5 environment (or Apex BR), but in BF it makes everything into a total mess. They can try minimizing the specialists with gadget-restrictions, but they do not remove things like zip-lines, wingsuits, self-replenishing explosives etc, and in the end the game will stay fundamentally flawed.

The game presently has a bug with the spotting which will allow you to be spotted behind cover. Just another thing to add to EA's "great game guarantee."
- UP_Hawxxeye3 years agoLegend@Adamonic Honestly people who focus on kills are probably having a better time.
Meanwhile players like me who put themselves in dangerous places for the sake of the objective, end up bitter each time the rest of the team either does not do the objective or gets slaughtered.- Adamonic3 years agoLegend@UP_Hawxxeye I agree, that's me. Trying to push to the objective, get on it, and attempt to clear it. Then I end up 1v10 on the point while the tickets expire and we lose.
