No points/xp for repairing? Support roles not rewarding

Really? There's no reward for repairing?

I swear, playing a support role in 2042 is so much less satisfying that it was in previous games.

+5 xp ONCE for any time you heal any one teammate

+5 xp ONCE for any time you resupply any one teammate

0 xp (I REPEAT: ZERO, NADA, NOTHING) for repairing

I would have loved to be on some of these design meetings to understand what they were thinking

@rippedwire01 That is an odd decision. A teamwork based game that involves objectives yet there is little reward for playing support roles? No suppression from LMGs(cover fire), little XP for giving your squad the stuff they need, nothing for repairs.
I'd like to know the reason behind these decisions, oh yeah they just tried to copy COD because it sold alot of units.
