In this case, @HankBizzle I think you may need to turn the question around. Would Nvidia not make sure that a partner help push their latest cards?
If games do not support them, their cards will not sell, and so there is ample reason for Nvidia to secure that the full feature set of their latest cards are in the latest AAA games.
