But even if they moved it to the special weapons section like the gov45 and shotguns it could get its own rules for use.
They could easily make it prone fire only like the tank hunter in BF1. Simple but it would stop quickscoping and have the mobility nerf it would need to make sure with the damage increase it would not get overused.

Not a bad idea, but I recently found out that .50 cal barret rifles can be still fired while standing.

I do not think we want to give the NTW-50 even more reasons to go prone. Especially if we hope to land a shot on a nightbird
