This will be short and to the point. The NTW-50 sniper is way too powerful against tanks and it just feels super cheap to die against a sniper across the map. Theres so many ways to destroy armor and the last thing we should be worrying about in a tank is a sniper camped out in a bush 500 yards away. Please reduce the damage the NTW-50 does against tanks

I think the NTW-50 is just right. Want to camp in a tank...then you will need your whole squads help to keep it repaired. No more solo tankers with 100 - 0 kd camping the edge of capture points.

@cng82 I disagree. The bullets are very slow like if I'm shooting a paint ball gun. It also has a massive bullet drop at range. So if you're getting hit from far away then you're just camping there firing at long range. It's a tank and not a howitzer. Also the downfall for the anti-material high power rounds is it gives you less damage against infantry. If you move forward or backwards at random then you can miss the slow moving bullet. If my team starts struggling against vehicles then I'll use that gun along with Caspers drone to eliminate the threat.

Wait they are nerfing it? Why the gun has a long reload and extrem bullet drop and super slow rounds… and still not a 1 hitter over 200m

Can a .50 BMG even do anything against a main battle tank in real life, except maybe get lucky and smash an optic or some thing on the outside of the tank?
I agree, let it continue to tear up light vehicles (as it should) but I'm not sure it would do anything to an M1A5/T28 except maybe make a noise.

@TheUltimateSmug I agree that the damage against light armor like jeeps, hovercrafts etc. is fine but against the tanks it too much. Tanks are slow and big and are much easier to hit at range. Im not talking a huge nerf but right now its feels like the NTW-50 is much better at taking out tanks than the recoiless M5 which is crazy imo.

I got * on by this sniper rifle while in an attack heli, WITH a gunner. Reason? He was behind a tree. If spotting worked, oh boy. If I had proximity sense? Oh boy. If I could figure out what was even doing damage to me in the first place? Oh boy. I couldn't even figure out what was damaging me. Was it a scout heli or some other *?

@UP_Hawxxeye No, because you need to be alot closer to throw frags and its a little harder to hit a moving target with them. I haven't died in a tank to a frag once. I have however been killed by the NTW-50 alot. Once everyone unlocks the NTW-50 it will become an even bigger problem. Agian, its only the tank damage I have issue with. Every other vehicle is fast enough to avoid sniper spam but the tank is big and slow and super easy to hit at range
