NTW-50 vs Riot Shield
Please explain why a NTW-50 with AP cannot shoot through a riot shield. Please. Explain. The. Logic. Can shoot tank treads, not shields.

@TTV_SlipSandThrow a incendiary grenade at Dozers feet, and when that forces them to back up, shoot them in the foot with the 50 cal.
I have a few funny clips of that sequence, one where I hit them with a fire grenade they moved backwards, then I 50 cal snipe them at the foot then immediately sprinted at them with a hatchet and finished them with a single hack when they dropped the shield to shoot at me and their gun flew five feet up in they air as the died...LOL
Basically be aggressive with Dozer players as they are use to people running away...- @DeepSixxxx I never run a sniper load out with an incendiary. Still doesn't explain the logic behind a shield that vaporizes AP rounds larger than it's actual diameter.
@TTV_SlipSandHow about work smarter and not harder on a simple game with tons of alternatives to kill a Dozer. I mean do you encounter hundreds of Dozers a match? Yeah, not likely.
Deepsixxxx has a tip, use it or do something with it, be creative.
- @xXEMTXx While you're right, he did offer a work around, he did not answer the question. I want to understand the reasoning why it is impenetrable, when the ammunition used clearly is capable of penetration on such a thin profile. If I can destroy helo engines, tank engines/tracks, or even disable turrets, there should not need to be a work around for a 'simple' surface. Working smart here would be finding a solution instead of a work around. This is far from a 'simple' game. The bullets don't simply vanish...I want to know where they go and why.
There is alot of things that dont have any logic....its a video game....how logical is it to body check someone with a forearm length of thrust with a riot shield and insta kill them? How logical is it that you sprint around wielding such a huge heavy gun like the ntw 50, using it like its a daisy red rider bb gun? On that thought dozer can have a ntw 50 , somehow put it in his back pocket, and pull out a 3/4 body size riot shiled out of his other back pocket, faster than billy the kid could draw his 6 shooter...btw I hear billy the kid is the next specialist who can duel wield revolvers and has a speed/accuracy perk.

Still does not answer the question at hand. Really hoping someone from the dev team can shine some light on it. This game focuses on destruction, I just want a destructible shield, or an answer why it is such an immovable object. @TTV_SlipSandI have a feeling the response would be around what Dozer's shield would be made out of, which is Vibranium, a fictional metal that absorbs kinetic energy applied to it. Like Cap' America's strong shield. Now, I know what you thinking, why do we have a Marvel material in this game which should represent to us REAL MODERN COMBAT, again, reference to what @GovntTookMyBaby, this is just a game. Us together could name countless things that are fictional.
As to a tank tread and why does it take damage from an NTW-50, the treads are made from real material unlike Vibranium-- which are made from rubber pads and steel plates.
The NTW-50 is a featured and futuristic weapon from the NTW-20 which uses anti-material rounds.
That aside, my bets down on that an anti-material round/s can take out tank treads out.
So next time you see Dozer, run from Captain No-Pat, or be creative 😎- @TTV_SlipSand Really. Come on, like, explain an NtW-50 damage a tank.
But, anyway, it is just a game. Everything has to have a counter to create balance.
Except jet with AGM, as nothing in the ground takes on jets, the AA wildcat will lose 90% of the time, so, these things need fine tuning.
