Yeah buddy! Just looking at my desktop. That’s the release date. So we should expect the alpha and beta very soon
There will be an Open Beta, but there doesn't yet appear to be any info on an alpha. There will, however, be a closed technical test: https://www.ea.com/games/battlefield/battlefield-2042/tech-test
