@dragonslayerxxx1 I am 100% absolutely, positively, without question, completely against ANY government involvement in regulating video games--especially when gamers plead for government to get involved to give them something that the company in question can't, or doesn't, want to give for whatever reason. Gamers do not own those companies, or games, and they aren't owed anything from them. Just because a company makes a game doesn't mean gamers somehow get to run to government and tell them "Make that company give me what I want!" That is such entitled, whiny, selfish, economically-illiterate BS!

@ChugKendallYeah, again I wasn't clear enough - my fault, happens to me quite often. I was referring to Minecraft situation which @CyberDyme mentioned about other companies having their own server option to offer. Let's say 2042 gets everything I mentioned and somebody gets a ''nice'' idea to monetize their servers. There are some laws that regulate this or even EA's EULA , I think?
- 4 years ago@dragonslayerxxx1 Again, I want ZERO government involvement in video games. I don't care the reason or circumstance, and I don't care for laws. If you don't like the way a company operates, take your money elsewhere, but leave government out of it.
- 4 years ago@ChugKendall I don't know how but you managed to completely miss my point.
- 4 years ago@dragonslayerxxx1 Sorry if I didn't get it. Please, take a moment to break it down for me; I would be happy to straighten all of this out. But let me warn you: You keep mentioning laws and regulations, and I am 100% against all of them, without question or compromise. If your point has anything to do with them (laws and regulations), we aren't going to agree.

I want government in as much as possible , this is a kids game. We would have never baught bf4 if it had clans it had become so bad ..
- 4 years ago@Edesktopgold I want government OUT, and it's not a "kid's" game; it's a "Mature" rated (17+) game.
Be a responsible parent, and fully vet what you get for your kids, instead of thinking that government is going to do it for you.
