Okay, I am in a better place
I wasn't enjoying the game for a lot of reasons and said so in threads here and there. I am up to level 25 now I think I have adapted to some degree to the nuances 2042 has introduced at this point....

Idk about you but I'm sick of DICE and tired of them thinking it's ok to put out a golden sprayed piece of crap, and then take a year or more to get it into an acceptable place, why don't they start just y'know DELAYING IT UNTIL IT'S READY, their "Were ahead of schedule" bs is hilarious seeing all the clips and problems this game has.
I especially like that the shield guy can literally tank tank rounds, repeatedly head on. I've read all the maps are just as awful as well and aren't any better than the 'beta' map.

@TrasteThSorry I don't celebrate and enjoy mediocrity but you do you, they have plenty of apologist to pat them on the back for doing a bad job. I'll wait for the price drop just like BFV had in a week or two.

People who hang on to this as a stick to beat them with have clearly never been involved with large projects. If they had, they would know how easy it is to be ahead one day and the next, something crops up that puts them days, weeks or even months behind.
@Trokey66I agree, it takes some insights and maturity to understand that that stick is broken.
I have full understanding for those demanding quality from start. I am not that hard on them, because I am having fun already as it is.
Had this been something for my work, delivered by an external developer for a release in production, I would not have accepted it, but that is because I don't work with Fun I guess.
Also, the game is not actually released yet.
- @TankerFlanker This game is doing everything it can to bring me right to the same place you are lol. People are getting tired of this same broken cycle. It's mostly from third party companies that have given themselves over to blown up MTX profits for shareholders. They won't delay the game because they need it out for their quarterly earnings calls.
What I have a hard time getting past is the fact they cancelled Battlefront 2 and BFV for this game. So they spend a year or two fixing those two games. Battlefront 2 was in an awesome spot with all this Disney+ content arriving to possibly put in the game. Then EA cancels support to work on BF2042 and start the cycle all over again?
To all those making excuses, do you really think EA isn't going to do the same with this game?
No, I got this game to try the 128 player conquest and have a bit of fun until Horizon Forbidden West and other games arrive early next year. That's as far as it goes for me lol. - @TankerFlanker If they delayed it you would be complaining about that to tho wouldn't you? Seems like they need people playing to help figure things out. Is that wrong that it then feels a bit beta testy? Sure, but isn't stopping me from having fun. Happiness is up to the individual. You control yours. Not Dice.
