Okay, I am in a better place
I wasn't enjoying the game for a lot of reasons and said so in threads here and there. I am up to level 25 now I think I have adapted to some degree to the nuances 2042 has introduced at this point....

Idk about you but I'm sick of DICE and tired of them thinking it's ok to put out a golden sprayed piece of crap, and then take a year or more to get it into an acceptable place, why don't they start just y'know DELAYING IT UNTIL IT'S READY, their "Were ahead of schedule" bs is hilarious seeing all the clips and problems this game has.
I especially like that the shield guy can literally tank tank rounds, repeatedly head on. I've read all the maps are just as awful as well and aren't any better than the 'beta' map.

People who hang on to this as a stick to beat them with have clearly never been involved with large projects. If they had, they would know how easy it is to be ahead one day and the next, something crops up that puts them days, weeks or even months behind.
@Trokey66I agree, it takes some insights and maturity to understand that that stick is broken.
I have full understanding for those demanding quality from start. I am not that hard on them, because I am having fun already as it is.
Had this been something for my work, delivered by an external developer for a release in production, I would not have accepted it, but that is because I don't work with Fun I guess.
Also, the game is not actually released yet.- @TrasteTh I work on several airworthiness systems both of which are very mature by software standards but we still find bugs and issues even now!
The issue often isn't that these bugs exist more how the developer deals with them when made aware and unfortunately this can take time.

Sorry but that is nonsense. Theyve charged people a premium for early access. The game was released last Friday for anyone who was prepared to pay. Released as a complete product not a work in progress.
Citing the complexity of large projects as an excuse just doesn't wash. Either delay it or be up front and tell your customers yes, you can buy this now but its rough, unfinished, you'll often be getting framerates reduced to a sideshow, bugs, crashes etc etc. Or you can wait til its actually in a fit state at some point in the future.
IDK, I don't have expectations of staying on this game all year, so my gameplay thoughts might end up more positive than most. I was more curious about 128 players and Portal than anything. A lot of the issues I'm seeing in streams and reading about seem like more long term issues. My biggest concern is the servers. There's already been some rubber banding issues on the 128 player matches, and the official launch hasn't happened.
Also, remember the beta was a 3 month old build lol!!! So early access people are essentially the beta testers for the latest stuff. That wasn't a smooth move by DICE. The beta should have been the current build, then we likely would be seeing a better product now. Then again, they delayed a month... lol
