Immersion is just a silly thing to whine about. Mainly because they aren't whining about med crates/ammo boxes, being shot and just shrugging it off, or any other numerous game mechanics. Nope, they complain because of some silly skins are ruining their immersive experience.
As much as i have complained about BFV, i have to admit, that they completely nailed the character system combined with classes there. That was perfectly fine (except for the clown skins like Ilse), but they were probably too smart, to just implented that.
@Trokey66The issue is that DICE once again sold BS. They said it was an authentic World War II experience and then proceeded to provide SJW cyborg women with a cricket bat as standard frontline fighters. They also took what was a completely male team that took out a Nazi heavy water plant and made it a mom/daughter superhero event. Had they sold the game accurately (go figure...history repeating itself), they would have caught less crap. But instead of doing that, they told people it's super real and if the customer doesn't like it, don't buy it.
I would venture to say that over 95% of DICE's problems are of their own making.

Video games MUST be 100% historically accurate.
Shall we ignore the fact that where maps depicted a historical battle, the side that in reality, lost could actually win?
There is a difference between 'authentic' and 'accurate', you might want to look that up.
