Operator Idea: Dragging or Picking up Fallen Soldier

I’m sure the mechanic has been looked at, but wouldn’t it be cool to move your squad mate from the line of fire and then safely revive them. I know BF is a fast paced shooter. Taking this risk isn’t really worth it. But if it was a trait on a medic/assault no-pat, I think it would be a fun character to play. If you had some smokes you could potentially drag a teammate out of the line of fire and while you drag them, their bleed out timer pauses. And then they can revive faster.

  • @Lil_Mega_Ras They wanted to implement that in BFV and it never happened... so maybe they will try again? I do not think it is as necessary with the Faulk pistol though.

  • @carsono311 I figured for another no-pat it would be a cool addition. Maybe even allow the downed teammate to have a pistol like in one of those CoD missions. That way it’s not exactly a game mechanic. Just a passive that might intrigue some who would like that. My friend brought it up and loved the idea in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

@Lil_Mega_Ras No, I agree with you! I think it would be a cool mechanic. However, I do see it as a situation where EA DICE might better focus on getting other things working ideally before adding features like that without ensuring they are behaving properly and are well-polished.
  • Doubt it'll happen, as mentioned above it was meant to be a feature in BFV which they announced, then went quiet about it for months before admitting they couldn't get it working properly.  Not sure why they would even announce something that was "iffy" to get working at best but there we go.
