@PacNbowlsApparently at launch there will be 10 specialists to choose from with 1 added every season. Currently only 4 of 10 are revealed, more will be revealed till the launch.

So far the 4 specialists are an assault, a support, an engineer and a recon.
As I understand it, the specialists are tied to the character model, so I assume we will not be able to create our "own" soldier.
