@CantGetRight Yeah you are right but that’s not the point.
You and everyone else PAYED for this.
I payed 100€ for a game that has 50% of an BF4 dlc as content.
and the so called live service is nonexistant at this moment.
Now i read more and more about that they "anthem“ this game.
I don’t know what it means but my guess is that it means they do the legaly minimal amount of effort and then just end support for it.
I’ve seen this in other games too… but after 2 years at best and when all content is out.
They do it freaking 3 months after launch.

@Bolvard "Antheming" the game means it gets abandoned. BW stuck with Anthem for a while after it's dreadful launch and tried to fix it, but it became clear that the game needed a top-to-bottom overhaul. So the team spend quite a bit of time working on new design docs to pitch EA on the budget needed for a proper reboot and a lot of it looked pretty great...but EA said no. Which was sad, but made sense given the enormous investment they'd already made and the terrible launch/reputation the game earned.
I never thought it was a possibility for 2042, but now that we're 3 months into the year and we're still getting a massive amount of silence about what the team is working on or what's happening for 2042, I'm increasingly thinking this is a possibility. Deliver the minimum-required content to meet their obligations as cheaply as possible and move on to the next installment.
