Own the game to buy skins and accessories?

I paid for a new suit with coins. but can't find it. do i have to buy the game to buy skins and accessories?

Uhm yes? I would think so, just to be clear you mean you were using the free-to-play weekend and bought skins?

@Saftdunk Sometimes you have to close out and re-open the game for new skins to show up or complete a round/match.

But why buy microtransactions for a game you don't own? Or do you mean that you are playing on EA Access/XBOX Game Pass?
