Battlefield has had this before. The only difference with its implementation in 2042 is the degree of detail that the player using the wallhack is given. There's a bunch of things Dice Sweden could do to stay faithful to the spirit of the ability without providing the player a straight up wallhack because they have had similar features and abilities in Battlefield games as far back as Battlefield 2 in 2005.
