Haha@Popa2caps LOL I agree. 2042 seems more like a love letter to Apex and Warzone fans after playing the Beta.

People are putting too many hopes in Portal.
And this game is not meant for BF players. It is so evident.
Attachments on the fly, vehicles on the fly (Objectives had vehicles in previous game but no no, they will fly out of the sky now), Spiderman, Wall Hack, Terminator deflecting bullets, Wingsuit is cool gotta say but heat seeking grenades what the...I mean yeah.
This is targeted to players who love big map BR type games - Warzone, Apex, etc.
Portal was definitely an afterthought because they somehow realised how the Conquest would make players think.

Portal was definitely an afterthought because they somehow realised how the Conquest would make players think.If it's possible to limit gadgets and weapons per class/specialist then I imagine it will be rather popular being able to play 2042 maps and classic maps with 2042 weapons and gadgets under a classical class structure.

I honestly can't compare Battlefield 2042 beta to Apex Legends, COD. If I had to choose a game that mostly compares, it would be Ghost Recon Breakpoint with a stuck first person mode. Apex Legends has super good character movement, COD: has amazing textures for weapons and/ or attachments overall with fast gameplay.
Looking at the Specialists side, I still can't compare them. Legends in Apex Legends are far superior in design and/ or creativity and COD operators aren't locked to specific gadgets.How many people are making the connection with Specialists to COD Operators, but don't directly play COD themselves That's not directed at you, I'm just wondering.
If we're going to have 128 players spamming motion sensors and wallhack abilities then we need specialists with radar jamming abilities to counter them.
As well as sensor jamming EMP grenades which disables all motion sensors and wallhack perks in the area for 10 seconds.
