The parachute problem has increased again, I have to agree. At the beginning of BF2042, it was a common problem, then it was fixed somewhere, now it is back again.
And yes, everything feels a little bit delayed, the worst example for me are the grenades, if someone is shooting at me and I want to throw a smoke grenades it takes too long until I throw it and too long until I can shoot again...
But the grenade problem is intentional I think, the problem with the parachute is a bug.
Like pressing the fire "left mouse button" and nothing happens press two more times and still nothing.
This game is a mess right now.
Parachute has always deployed properly for me (PS5) but it kind of feels/appears like you're falling slower than you actually are which can lead to problems

Pretty sure that happened in the same round that my parachute wouldn't deploy. Which got me mad enough to start this thread lol.
I'm not sure what's happening with the gun not firing. Like the server sees the other guy killed you way before you even saw them? I heard the enemy running towards me while I was behind cover, I think that I even tried to pre-fire them, and as he appeared on my screen I was definitely holding the mouse button down, and nothing. I just died staring at him.
The other more common problem I have is my gun sputtering when going full auto. It kinda makes me think that some actions are tied to server when they shouldn't be.
