Ok so that is what was wrong yesterday. Thought my computer was about to go out the window. I almost lost all fights - could not understand the aim / hits on people. Something as simple as shooting down one in parachute was a problem. And when I saw people instant death to me. I have played with cross play on for quite some time now - and has been ok to play this - but yesterday it was crazy.
Must say I never understood the idea behind this mixing worlds console vs pc - why oh why ?
At last now I don't need to examine my computer for problems - it is not at my end this is bad !
@Col_LarsenI feel for you, most Pc players were questioning their builds. I have a buddy with a 4090 and a 5800X3D and I’ll tell you, he wasn’t happy with it. 2042 has the worst PC optimization of all the series. The vast majority of PC ports have all been bad, as they’re focussed on the consoles. Add in trying to get Xbox, PS and PC to all interact hasn’t worked at all. 2042 is again (IMO) the worst attempt yet, but it’s not like it’s worked out great in other games either. As much as PC games used to set the standard, it’s now the middle child of the gaming world at best. So no, it’s not you. The vast majority of it goes right back to Dice and EA. At least try 60hz AWS, it sure couldn’t hurt.
The real problem with this PC v Console discussion is what DICE have done to make gamepad players more competitive. Let's just call it what it is: software-based cheating for gamepad/console users. The handicap for gamepads against M&K players is a .8 FSM and bonuses to their TTK, DICE have built cheating into their game for console/gamepads. To be competitive with a PC, it feels like to me, you need to have AT LEAST a third of a second lead on a console player before his aimbot sees you.

I stopped playing the PC version completely and only do console now. It's useless to get a game going in EU with just PC, pretty much always empty or 3-4 people waiting. Crossplay with aim-bot/aim-assist just makes you rage quit eventually. If honestly I had started with the PC version instead of console I probably wouldn't be still playing at all. Used to love BF on PC but those days are long gone.
