The game's netcode is soooooooo bad. There is definitely some desync between console and PC. I'll kill people I can't even see anymore as they run around a corner and I get killed while I'm in cover constantly.

Netcode has always been rough for BF games
In BF1 and BFV the netcode was pretty spot on especially at the end of their lifecycle.
BF2042 netcode is a big downgrade and seems to be even worse than BF3's.
Let's not forget that even the server's tick rate has been downgraded from 60Hz to 45Hz.
