DICE have given Call of duty like Aimbots assist on controlers in the last few iteration of the game wich seams to have lots of tracking and lots of magic bullet bending from what ive notice .. without mentioning the consoles Aimbots grenades that are head seeking for some reason

And as you can see there's also like Zero Recoil in that video !
What really kills me is that from the day the first EA BF game was released “BF 1942” legit PC players have been screaming for a good legit Anti Cheat program and now EA goes and gives Consol players Aim Assist with just about Zero Recoil ! It’s truly sad !!- RMEChief2 years agoLegend@OneDeadEye4 Devs are Console players, they are going to make the game easier for themselves. The game was also originally made for consoles and ported to PC, which is why even the menus are clunky with M&K.

I've had times on console where I literally could not select specific objectives to spawn on. Selecting spawn points can be like solving a puzzle at times.

Is it normal for there to be zero gun recoil like in the video? There's no recoil in 2042?

Here's three popular Youtuber's sharing their recommended controller settings:

https://youtu.be/bUGdp5NCNWo?t=790Do you notice any trends on their recommendations for Aim Assist snap?
Despite what your video suggests snap assist is more trouble than it's worth. Most experienced console players turn it off, including myself.

- Alethes2 years agoSeasoned Ace@OneDeadEye4 it gets too tiring these a.a. diatribes...
In this particular case you mention—a.a. is one thing; recoil is another. Let's not conflate the two things. Next a.a. will be blamed for global warming.
A.a. slows down the reticle *only*. With settings user-adjustable from 0 to 100 for amount of slowdown for HIP and ADS, separately. Contrary to previous BFs on 2042 the reticle *does not snap or track on ADS*.
Re. recoil: yes, console has less recoil than PC in percentage points. And, needless to say, some weapons have less recoil than others. On YT video you posted user has console play with low recoil weapon. No mysteries, conspiracies or demonical forces at play here.
