People need to learn when to revive and when not to!!!

People seriously need to learn when to revive and when not to. And also when to request a revive and when not to.

There be people who revive you when you got an enemy standing right next to you. So they revive you, then they die and then you die yourself. It seems people are no longer reviving out of a strategic decision but simply to gain quick xp or points.

Whats worse is those people who have died and spam the request-revive button and then they have a go at you in the chatbox because you havent revived them. There be people who are requesting a revive when they are in clear line of fire.

Somone in chatbox was calling me out for not reviving him, so I revived him just before he died...I then died because because an enemy flanked me.

People srly need to learn when to revive other and when not to. And people who are downed need to learn when to request a revive and when to simply go back to the deployment screen straight away.

  • Who would you say should set those rules?

Other than that, I would only suggest that squad members count to 10 before reviving a squad mate who is not right  next to them.   I seem have about a 5 second delay until I can "spot" enemies by me once downed, not sure if that is standard

  • @LancySchemer Is this your first BF game? This goes back to BF2. Actually, it was a big deal back then as you would get in a killed, healed killed scenario and it was not fun and you couldn't do anything about it. As anyone could switch teams at will and they would get with a buddy on the opposite team and they would kill you and their buddy would heal you and then repeat.

I think the biggest issue is people don't think and just do because it gets them something or don't do it because it doesn't benefit them. I was thinking this last night as I was playing a round and one of my squad mates literally sat on my bleeding corpse and refused to revive me while he was waiting for the point to cap. No one around, just me and him. He netted nothing really as he was playing the Squirrel...a few minutes later, same guy...I'm down spotting enemies for our team knowing no one should run out and revive, but here he comes as Falk, runs out into massive fire to revive me and of course I die right away and so does he. People just run around brain dead and "push button make guy die"...

The average player is clueless half the time. If I have a competent squadmate, I am frantically writing down his personal information so I can friend request him/her and stalk them on social media.

  • @LancySchemerI would be happy if I get a revive at all, wouldn’t even matter if I die.

The amount of clueless and oblivious Falks, Angels and especialy Andrew Tate‘s are astounding to say the least.
It’s way worse than back in previous titles like in bf3 or bf4 when you don’t get Ammo from 4 supports next to you, it is way worse now with reviving in 2042

You have literally 2-3 Falks and a few angels stepping over your corpse and you simply get ignored, even if you spam the revive request.

My favourite Moment is whenever the front gets revived by a few supports and you’re the only one who don’t get to be revived… it’s frustrating.

when I play falk I mostly end up with 25-60 revives until the game ends… when I see falk players who have only 2-5 then I know they play falk for unlimited selfhealing and not for supporting the team with revives.

  • @LancySchemer fair points. but other fair points are the medics who ignore players to revive, especially when capturing an objective and no one is around. that one extra body from the revive can and often does make the difference between capping a point and not capping it.

That's what I'm saying!!! Not only does it give you XP and score, it HELPS WIN!!! I just don't get it myself. People are such bags sometimes....
