I don’t know what to put it down to. This game just preforms badly for me, feels like I’ve got crazy input lag, and I have to put 20 bullets into people, then legit die to someone in like 1 bullet.
Really disappointing since I feel it is such a huge step backwards compared to how bf5 plays.
I know exactly what you mean, this isn’t down to ps5 performance this is server side.
you will literally have 20 hit markers with the m5a3 assault rifle then get instantly beamed after receiving just 1 damage indicator.
Yes this is on PC too.

Digital foundry did a video on this subject the series x can dip into the 40fps and playstation 5 likes to hang out in the 50's with resolution scaling both is a joke. These should be running in the 100's and not 50's.
They also said just to buy the game on ps4 and xbox one as the backwards compatibility lock's it too 60fps.

Our biggest new feature 128 players but 0 hardware out there can push it past 100 fps without doing sever cutbacks so just play the ps4 version DF.
I have a Xbox series x, my TV is on game mode and i have constantly low fps issues, especially in Manifest and Hourglass.
Its an absurd, i dont know what to do.
Yes this is not just a console problem. Im on PC and one night Im running at 80+ fps log off then log on the next morning and im at 40 - 50fps with drops in the 20s. When the frames drop the hit registration is all screwy.
This morning I was running 60-70 fps steadily then i died respawned and I dropped to 40 - 50 fps.
This game has a memory leak and after an hour of playing your fps will steadily drop.
Even with not changing a setting the frames are all over the place. I just got my new rig not a few months ago.
Its the game and on their end not ours.
Tho I can load up bf5 and be at 100+ fps consistently.
