@Denneh Could be certain maps that limit vehicles. Portal will certainly have options to remove vehicles... but there is no way that vehicles will be removed from Battlefield 2042 entirely / permanently.

There's always been infantry-focused maps though, and i doubt we won't see that again even in the core game.
Or as others have said, the quick short-term fix will be portal, as there's plenty who enjoy infantry-only and i'd be surprised if that isn't one of the first things we see there along with hardcore-likes.
Removing combined arms from the core game though, that's just not BF.
