Hello DICE, We LOVE what you've done so far to improve the game but there's one thing that need to be addressed to keep the player base loyal and new players wanting to come back.NO MORE RESTRICTED OR MODERATE XP !!There really is no point anymore, no-body cares about the farmers, they're not gaining any EXPERIENCE by flying around in circles not killing. There'd be more players in the custom servers if XP was full, giving everyone a choice of the kind of battlefield they'd wish to play, which, I think would attract players back to the game and your reputation will improve MASSIVELY.We've seen MANY posts on this subject and seen the player base dwindle as a result.If you agree with me NO PATS. Just reply with a YES, Don't leave a long explanation, It's just your vote we need. Together we can change our world for the better.

It’s like they are willing to create an experience in portal to repeatedly do a task to gain XP, spending their time doing that to achieve something like a rank or cosmetics that doesn’t matter at all. In reality what really matters is having fun in the game itself without looking at XP.In reality what a higher rank might mean: the gamer spent a lot of time playing the game. Not necessarily a good player, just spent a lot of time playing it. May be socially awkward maybe living with mom maybe doesn’t have a job etc. sorry if I went too deep lol I am around level S200 but not a really great player, just probably spent too much time with it. LOL But i really enjoy playing with friends talking to each other.

@turtlebeached The players dwindled because of the class nerf. Go back to Jan and try again. More new maps would help, stop 'fixing' things that never needed to be fixed. You're being trolled by non-BF players into ruining the franchise.

Times in gaming industry have changed a lot.

Nowadays it's all about the money and even after paying for the product you don't even get all that's previously been proudly announced. Even if the majority of the community obviously wants something.

Like here that "you should get full XP and progression no matter what you do or play."

While knowing that the game has AI and and a Solo mode in it too. Then put restrictions to it. 🤨

@turtlebeachedI would like to add that people blatantly make kill trading servers for 2vs2. Which defeats the purpose of the XP restrictions vs bots

DICE should eat crow and stop fighting the inevitable.
I do not care what level the others are or how many T1s they got. Only about what T1s I got and they take way too long to reach for guns and vehicles.

@UP_Hawxxeye True. I wonder how these players think that they're something special with a higher rank that wasn't earned. You can spot them a mile off when they're playing a real game.

The game is 2 yrs old now.
I love playing this game with friends - we’re on most nights.
But the game is in its final state now.
Nothing will be changed or added.
Support for this game is being managed by a skeleton crew now.
Devs are being reassigned and have moved on to other studios (TTK).
So many missed opportunities with this game. But it’s no good voicing concerns about what needs to be added or changed.
A lot of us have voiced suggestions throughout the life of this game - the majority of which was ignored.
Portal has not received any meaningful support for about a year now.
It’s still missing a shed load of maps in some gamemodes.
Reclaimed was added but they just have us the micro size version! They cut that map right down in size for no reason whatsoever.
No UI/ setting improvements.
Nothing meaningful added to the rules editor.
Bugs and glitches still remain - although the game is in better shape.
Regarding XP, I see no reason why XP shouldn’t be added to portal. At this stage in the game’s life, there’s no reason not to if it keeps people playing.
But the truth is, this game has run its course now.

This is the only point that we were pointing out and I agree. I was also disappointed with the small reclaimed map that was added even though I was going to cut it down to a Delta battle. As for "the game has run its course" Nope, not for me. I'm gonna be playing this game for many years to come and ONLY this.

Why is XP so important? If you are new, you get your weapons and attachments in a couple of weeks if you play.

The rest is just cosmetics and rank. Those things don’t matter at all.

Am i missing something?
