Played bf2042 for a day and did not win a single match how is this fun
I played all day and did not win a single game. is this normal because it’s not really fun and will put me off playing long term.

If it has been that frustrating for you, try playing some Solo/Co-Op to learn the maps/weapons/vehicles and mechanics of the game first before jumping into the PVP arena.
You can also level up the weapons and the attachments for weapons and vehicles that way as well.
Also, you can watch some gameplay videos, there is a bunch of content creators out there on YouTube, Twitch etc. etc. playing this title.
This is the famous Video game balancing Logic.
It is not specific to BF2042 but happens to every FPS shooter out there where one is matching alone against the unknown.
The only cure is to find a platoon or community to team up with.

- @UP_Hawxxeye I think something is up with sbmm and matchmaking after 4.1.1 update. Instead of 10-30 seconds, it now takes me over 2 minutes to find a game. And I often get into teams that are over half way through being bent over without a lube.
Balancing is also off now. I've seen others complaining about it too. All of them are decent high k/d player that game seems to throw into lopsided matches in hopes they can carry 50+ potatoes on their shoulders. - @Ironhead841 thank you for the feedback🙂 I’ve played bf 1 and bfv and enjoyed both I watch a lot of YouTube it’s not about me getting good, I know I will never be a maxi q . but I never had a whole day of playing the game without a single win (my team not me) the last 2 games where about 50 percent win/ lose I never had an entire day playing on servers being on the losing side all the time. along with all the other problems the game has I can see why the player base fell through the floor. for a aaa game it still seems really broken after all the patches it’s just doesn’t feel fun to me like the last games did ☹️

I consider myself by no means a good player, but I keep getting dumped into teams of literal vegetables, planted on hillsides ignoring objectives.
- @filthy_vegans Yep, this has been happening all day for me. My last game today was on Kaleidoscope (128 Conquest).
I drove LATV4 all the way to C flag, completely by myself. Enemies began flooding in 1 by 1. I ended up making a stand and killed 38 people all alone before getting overrun by the hoard. Meanwhile, my entire team was doing god knows what. All I knew is that every flag except B was red and we were 200 points behind within the first 5 minutes.
Game ended with 750 point difference. Me at #1 with a ton of kills and x2.5 score of #2 player.
This made me question so many things. But main was - If enemies were so dumb that I managed to farm 80 kills on foot by myself, what kind of braindead AI flip flops were on my team?! - @ubhkrtau4e4g uff expecting fun in 2042.... brutal expectations
So many are in the game modes that are not concerned with winning. They are XP farming by any means necessary. How is any kind of match making supposed to distinguish between the players doing this and those that are concerned with their teams' score and victory?
- @Skill4Reel By the stats? There is objective times, and objectives capped/neutralized. Defensive/offensive kills.
If you're a braindead potato, its easy to tell.
Also its easy to tell a good player from a camper by SPM and KPM. High k/d player that kills 1 person every 2 minutes OR high k.d player that kills 2-3 players a minute and has insane SPM. Which one is PTFO player and which one is a stinky, greasy, dirt-licking camper?
