- Rao is OP when it comes to taking down air vehicles.
Rao hacking gadget or watch has the same range as an AA missile 350m. His ability is unlimited with no cool down. It takes 3 seconds to hack a moving military grade vehicle with a 10 sec disruption to the enemy. OP
Nerf this ability. Make it so it’s a 10sec hack for a 10sec disruption with a cool down. Use a laptop animation not some stupid watch unrealistic
Two Raos can take down any attack heli in a matter of seconds lol

@whybother321I need to step in and straighten some facts here
First, two Raos are not very productive since the Hacked vehicle gets an „Firewall“ Mechanic that protects the vehicles against another hack for a short time which makes more rao‘s against one vehicle basicaly pointless
Second: Rao can hack infantry soldiers, revealing the hacked Target to him at all times and additionally spots all enemys in a middleranged Area around the target.
So you know if you are up against 1 enemy or a whole squad and can act proberly.
Rao is very strong if the squad /Team know how to take advantage of it but 2042 is so damn poorly optimized for Teamplay ( becouse of specialists itself ) that no one barely does that.
Im a irish Main, im almost at 150 Mastery and I know most of the times my team didn’t even noticed that I saved theyr * against all kind of rockets/grenades/explosives but I personally feel good about it anyway.
The same principle goes to the Rao mains, most of the times players don’t notice that you killed or denied an stealth heli who where dropping bombs on your frontline.
I wish Rao much like Irish wherent so strongly situational.
I guess Irish could shine a lot more if we would get more maps that are indoors so you can also take more advantage of his cover.
this would also help Dozer since his biggest weakness are the open maps where you can get shot from every angle- Psubond4 years agoLegend

@PsubondIn my honest opninion equal reason for the Irish Sentinel to be changed big time (removed). The fact that one gadget can change that much with litterely zero effort is just bad game design. Should have limited charges at the very least and a long cooldown.
What's worse the enemy has zero feedback on what's happening, can't tell if your nade missed or just vanished with a bug.
If they ever introduce an actual meatgrinder it'll be so bad because of this. Games shouldn't be decided by things like this. And I think Rao will ruin it equally, just randomly see enemies running behind a wall..... such a terrible idea.
