Leaning will make defenders much harder to push against and it will also further exacerbate the difference in precision between controller and mouse. This isn't meant to be a hardcore game.
This is not a tactical game, it is a sandbox arcade game that can be played in a tactical manner to great success. Don't push it too far in any direction. Battlefield does best as the middle ground.
I don't even want to imagine how rough it will be to push into a flag as infantry with defenders that have DMR's leaning around every corner. It will be a Sundance buff too because we're desperately going to need their scatters to make people stop leaning. That means she's going to be picked even more and I'm already bored of how common she is.
Sundance was nerfed already, and it was a good nerf, we just need buffs to other operators so we stop seeing her so much. And leaning will absolutely make Sundance even more mandatory when pushing interiors.
If you add leaning, you will significantly slow down the pace of the game because everyone will have to check every corner carefully or die because they didn't notice an arm and a head that was aiming at them. Also imagine how insanely difficult it's going to be to notice who's shooting at you out in the open if they have no scope glint and they're leaning out of a rock. The game is going to slow to a crawl.
- ATFGunr3 years agoLegend@Zhukov211 Was just go to say same thing. Leaning still exposes the player and you can still be killed. In some ways, even easier as the upper body and head are what’s visible so that’s what gets aimed at. Leaning only really covers your legs, and even that isn’t 100%. It’s not sticking only the rifle around the corner so you can spray and pray lol
