You have no idea how janky it feels to aim at enemies on console. The input is bugged just like on PC. Its easier to counteract the bugged input on a mouse then it is on the controller. The aim assist could be reduced for controller, sure, but they need to fix the input first. Nerfing the aim assist without fixing the input would result it controller players putting the game down en masse.
