@Trokey66I agree about rewarding team-play, but this is still borderline stupid.
This is what happens with too much creativity regarding gadgets (/specialists), we end up having things that are "exploitable" and ends up being detrimental to the gameplay.
These things would work fine in Apex Legends, but unfortunately this is BF and then it becomes a joke.
As long as things are used 'as designed', there is no 'exploit' in the strictest sense.

@Trokey66I agree that using gadgets in the game are not "exploiting", my issue with things like this, is bad game-design.
Dice has made it even harder for themselves to balance things, by introducing the specialists and the need for giving them all unique 'powers'/gadgets.- Sulu93 years agoRising Hotshot@cso7777 quick fix to this would be to disallow gadget placement in base area, but that would require devs to play the game - to realize the issue

@Sulu9By the Gods NO!
I wonder if you ever played BF3 when they prevented Mortars from being placed in spawn because of 'community' whinging, what a disaster that was!
It meant that during a spawn trap, the trapped couldn't use Mortars to help with a breakout but the trappers could rain down Mortar fire into spawn with impunity.
Terrible idea!

@cso7777It is likely that even with classes and because the Repair Tool and Sentinal are 'Support' gadgets, this situation could still occur (assuming 2 gadget slots).
Wihilst yes, there are balnce issues around them, Specialists in, and of themselves, are not the issue in this instance but more that players are realising the potential of some gadgets that didn't get the 'love' in previous games coupled with gadget allocation around 'classes'.
