@RandomNpc96 I feel the same way. Some games let you change that. I think previous BF games did. It’s one of those settings that I change immediately and never think about again.
I’m doing just fine with the blur around the scope, but I would prefer there to be none. I also wish some of the sight pictures were maybe a tad bigger.
Keep in mind FOV will change how big the scope/sight appears on your screen.

Easy fix for this on Pc, just find your Bf2042 folder in my documents then go to settings open PROFSAVE_profile with notepad and change GstRender.MotionBlurEnabled to 0 it will be set at 1.
- RaginSam4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Rye-Sco I think that’s for motion blur while turning. Which you can completely turn that off in game. There’s something in there about ads blur and turning that to 0 did nothing.
- Rye-Sco4 years agoSeasoned Adventurer@RaginSam It removes blur up to a 2x for some strange reason...
- RaginSam4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Rye-Sco Ah okay. Thanks for the clarification.
I don’t notice blur on the lower zoom sights as much because the sight picture is a little bigger? I definitely notice it on the 2x TV sight with the chevron. Which is my favorite, but I wish it was a little bigger or didn’t have the blur around it.
