I just think it's ability to spot anything at the distance it does is insane. There is already no concealment in this game as it is. Cut it's spot range in half, good enough.
Plus it's a gimmick...which is why some of you like it I suspect.
Oh look, another 'remove fun stuff' because it spoils my mad, superleet, mad skillz sensibilities!
Not a huge fan of this sort of AI opponent in a pvp game. Too tanky. Spotting range can feel excessive at times. Kinda one dimensional and boring.
I'd like to see it given more roles than simply just anti-infantry. Give it some sort of support type abilities...SOFLAM vehicles, EMP enemies/vehicles, heal, resupply, repair, perhaps even a limited ability to revive. Give it some depth.
But most of all I want this...
I want Ranger to be able to ride in the passenger seat of the LATV4...with its head out the window.. blastin' fools as we do our drive-by's with the music bumping. I have never cared for Ranger or the LATV4, but would happily spend all map driving around with doggo.
Also I'd pay $100 for a leg lift emote that Ranger could use to help taunt my fallen enemies. For those moments when a solo teabag is insufficient. Seriously DICE put this in the store. Charge whatever you want and start planning your early retirement.

It would be a lot more valuable than the current peashooter
