Dice mentioned different ammo types within the plussystem, so it might be that the player was changing both his ammo and magazine type at the same time, and maybe changing back would also revert the ammo count.
@UP_SunnyTheWolfBut this is exactly the problem with the system. Imagine you're in a tight firefight, you completely run out of ammo with your 30 round mag. All you have to do is open this little window, click on a drum mag option and voila, magically you have full ammo and 50 round ready to go at your enemy, all within 1 second. So whats the point of reloading anymore.

I think we have to remember that it was pre-alpha footage, so the system isn't probably in its final form in the gameplay clip.
- YourLocalPIumber4 years agoSeasoned Ace@UP_SunnyTheWolf I want to hope. But then I remember BF4's reload glitch and how long it took then to fix that, and then it made its way with Frostbite into BF hardline xD, even in Hardline trailer.
Its just a little scary because me and my friends were talking about this concern before the gameplay trailer, and then we spotted our concern right there by watching it. Kinda scary.- 4 years ago
I agree that it would seem to be a bad game-design choice if the changes within the plussystem take affect immediately without any time delay - especially when it comes to ammo.
Still, that is such an obvious point of contention that I can't believe that would be the intended mechanism in the final release.
