@ghinavirus Honestly, I don't feel the desire to get it. I have enjoyed a lot of the BF stuff in the past, but I have gotten much more no-compromise, lately.
I hope they do well, and DICE lives to see another version, but this one isn't giving me what I want, so I am fine with passing on it--just like any other purchase I would make. And since I have already been a recent EA Play subscriber, I'm pretty sure I won't get another trial period. I don't think I would do it, anyway.
A lot of people get emotionally tied up and identify with things like this, the same way people fanatically support their favorite football team. They want it to do well, and give them something new to enjoy and experience, so they loyally follow and support it--and make excuses for it--because they have that emotional tie and craving.
I am a huge football fan, too, so I get it, but if my team has a bad year, I will still be honest about it and hope they improve next year. Same goes for games.
I'm not mad. I don't hate EA, or anything. This just doesn't work for me, so I'm going to wait for a "New and Improved!" product. Same with CoD, this year. Their new game sucks, too, unfortunately.

@ChugKendall Don't you and ghinavirus forget about the potential of Portal, although I don't want to change your minds really, just saying, I think Portal is gonna be it for a lot of people.
Me I am stingy anymore, I do not play many games or spend much on well really anything anymore lol and 60$ and upwards is a lot to me for just games.
anyway,
take care!

- 4 years ago@MegatronNerd Yes, it's a lot of money--especially with out government's ridiculous inflation nonsense, right now.
Personally, I am not going to give up that kind of money just for one mode--and I'm not even convinced that that one mode is going to be good, either. I don't like the way the game feels, overall, so I don't see where Portal is going to change my mind.
But to each their own.
Do what you feel is best for you, and I really hope you enjoy what you buy. - 4 years ago@MegatronNerd I would love to know more about Portal. We have nothing to go on. No full gameplay or anything. How do we setup a Portal match? So many questions and little feedback. Does old assets move like old games or do they move and play like 2042? Its hard to get excited for this mode when there isnt much about it less than 4 weeks to launch for ultimate editions.
