Portal conquest / vehicle rules editor

Hello, long time BF player, I just wanted to talk about portal and how a few added features would go a long way towards giving players the tools they wanted to craft custom experiences - specifically adding the rules

I know this has already been commented on before, and prior to release a developer said there were no plans to bring the portal rules editor logic system to conquest. This was because Free for all and TDM were thought to be the best basis for crazy modes.

The thing is a lot of players just want slight variations of conquest which cannot be set up without access to a rules editor.

For example I would like to set up a conquest game custom classes where both teams have a mix of weapons, gadgets and vehicles from BC2, BF3 and a couple items from BF2042.

This isn't possible in conquest; I can have one team with one era of weapons, gadgets and vehicles, and another team with another era of items but I cannot mix and match within the same team.

This is an issue because it strips away the ability to create the portal games most people want to play; conquest with new classes and teams made from mixing up the existing weapons, gadget and vehicle pools. Currently all that is possible is removing weapons, gadgets and vehicles for a portal conquest game instead of being able to replace them with items from the same era or another era.

The thing is, all of this can be done with the rules editor for Free for all and TDM, so its all there, its just we don't have access to it on the modes most want to play with; Conquest and Rush.

If we could get access to the rules editor for portal conquest (and rush) game modes you would see the portal community thrive.

Obvious game modes would be Tank and Air superiority, but the most common I imagine would just be BF3 and BC2 with custom classes and vehicle set ups.

Other things that would be amazing to have if the rules editor was added for conquest would be the following -

-Ability to change timers / settings for flags (ie increase / decrease capture time for individual flags. Ability to set flag as "one way" - can only be captured by one specified team).

-Ability to add or remove flags - added flags could just have a spherical capture area of a specified radius like the old BF games (I know I'm dreaming), we can figure out the co-ordinates.

-Ability to add spawns linked to a flag, once again we can figure out co-ordinates (I know I'm dreaming)

-Ability to spawn some simple objects at specified co-ordinates - ie spawn container object @ x,y,z.

-Ability to change weapons / gadgets values for vehicles (I doubt we would be able to put new gadgets on vehicles, but it would be great to have access to change values for individual vehicles and vehicle weapons  (ie radar distance, cool down speed, damage, etc.).

Right now portal is 90% towards being a dream mode, but without the ability to properly set up new classes it essentially becomes 7 game modes;

BF42, BC2, BF3,

a "hardcore" version of BF42, BC2, BF3

and then 1000 crazy game modes mainly based on Free for all or TDM which are set up to copy something from COD or Halo.

I'm not saying crazy game modes are bad, but most people bought battlefield to play battlefield, and when seeing the trailers for portal most people interested in portal were thinking -

"sweet, I can craft the battlefield experience I wanted with customised kits and vehicle selections mixing items from a bunch of eras", not "cool I could code in gun game and infection".
