@gunshot95 The information you've seen, and as mentioned by TrasteTh above, is correct. There currently isn't a way to upgrade, but you can cancel and re-order.

Since it looks like you ordered through Origin you wouldn't have been charged yet, the money would be taken closer to the release date.

Thank you and TrasteTh; to confirm I won't lose out on any preorder bonus if I cancel my existing order for a standard edition?
Note, I am based in Australia.

@gunshot95 I guess, just to make sure you do not miss out on anything, and since you are not getting charged yet anyway; could you not order the Gold Edition as well, and once sure, cancel the order for the Standard Edition?
