Post-game voice lines...so over it

Battlefield takes away the scoreboard, bans abusive remarks, introduces more female characters and so on for reasons of promoting harmony, non-sexist behaviour and equity etc.

But listening to their stupid and inappropriate post-game voice lines for two months has given me the shudders.

Some of them are downright offensive and smatter with sexual innuendo and supercilious suggestions.

Practically none actually promote the sentiments that DICE/EA apparently seek in the new title.

Now I'm all for females in the game, both as players and characters. Abusive behaviour (apart from killing other players of course) is right out. The use of non-gender specific characters is also fine and appropriate.

But it seems that DICE/EA lose their own plot with those voice lines.

This is of course isn't anything new.  Certainly there have been complaints about these lines since 2042 was released.  But they are still there.  DICE/EA just aren't taking notice.

Work with us developers...

'That was something right!?'  Yeah, well all soldiers say that coming out of battle...right?

'Well, well, well, that was fun'   What exactly are we saying here DICE/EA?  War is fun?  The game is fun?

'Did I go too far' - What?  Is this some sort of sexual innuendo or what?

'I am not overconfident, just better than everyone else' - How do you know?  Do you have a scoreboard?  Sure you just like to score...

'Easy in, easy out'  - Exactly what are you referring to?  Another number?

'Sometimes, they just line up for you'  - More numbers games - you wish.  Come on, stop with the innuendo.

'Yes! Angel does it again!'  - Time we got a bit adult here.. grow up.
