Since the Steam freebie went out I've seen countless rank 15-20 blitzing everybody. One player was constantly averaging over 70 kills on foot in back to back matches. Pretty sure they weren't legit to be honest, they'd instantly find you playing as Zain, and withstand vehicle fire. Then as I predicted seconds before hand as I'm tearing through enemy ranks, they were going to be the one who showed up with explosives. Sure enough, there they appear, right next to the vehicle. Straps explosive to it, detonates right next to themselves without dying. Vehicle survived, but I bailed to take him out. He's getting shot by three players plus me, in the open, less than 15m away. Manages to tank all that gunfire to one shot me through smoke and then gets killed. When a player is outpacing vehicle score on foot, and they're a new player, suspicions quickly start to rise. I've noticed this with a lot of low rank players who pull off perfect shots on occupants of moving vehicles. Spawned into a Condor side seat yesterday and within half a second, as its swinging around, a rank 15 takes my head off.
Really makes me think the reason I'm being matched with these people is because they're performing way beyond what their rank suggests their experience is. Ergo, illegitimate. Their activities would back that up.
Yes SBMM is in this game and if you are level 50 and below you have an advantage almost like you have no bloom or spread. Now they gave playstation freebies a beamer pass, have fun getting wrecked by noobs at a unfair advantage

I swear to god it sometimes feels like new players suddenly have some kind of advantage because ever since Steam FreeToPlay and sale kicked off, alog with PS+, I've been losing 1v1s for some bolox reasons.
And I cannot call these players any "good". They still have potato score and k/d, yet sometimes they just point their gun at me and I die.
With the absurd amounts of shady patents companies such as EA and Activision have been filing, I won't won't be surprised if people below certain rank got some kind of server advantages.@UP_LordPlumber I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice this. For me, I'd frequently find players under the rank of 80 were just obliterating myself and others with ease, while I was able to take out S200+ with relative ease. Same for players on low rank being the best snipers in the game.
- @Moab23 https://patents.justia.com/patent/11478716 quite a read. There are tons of patents filed by EA for adjusting difficulties and SBMM for online games. This makes me want to puke
