@RipGroove99Was that not apparent from information that was available pre release, though? The reveal of the specialist system should had set off every internal alarm ever to franchise fans.
The only reason I do not completely hate the specialists is that I like being free in my kit choices (though I absolutely loathe their avatars).
The only thing that ended up being an outright lie/walkback between the actual game and the promotion is the full Player vs bot progression

So any of us that for this game either made the decision to buy in spite of being aware of all these facts (like me) or while being ignorant of these facts.
I am not saying that we are supposed to be happy with what 2042 is turning out to be right now. But I wish more of us also did the self reflection to pass a good portion of the blame to ourselves, because the warning signs I listed were well known for anyone who was not buying the their very first BF game.
It is a bit like investing in the the stock price of a certain company and hoping it will rise. One can both blame the ones who hyped them into investing as well as themselves for making the final decision into making the investment.
