Progression not working properly for weapons and vehicles (Solo/Coop AI)

Seeing the same issue myself. It seems like you can unlock the first 1-2 attachments/modules for each weapon or vehicle then it just stops counting. No progress on skins at all. I don't mind if they increase how many kills it takes to gain an item on bots, but holy crap just removing it entirely is just *.
