Fo what it's worth, I have gotten a couple of attachments, and the Steam achievements are starting to award it seems.
But the kills did not track to the mastery, so it seems that whatever prevented unlocks entirely is gone, but whatever stops mastery tracking is not.
Well, we'll know for sure before Friday I guess.
The game officially launches for stadard edition players then, who plenty also would of purchased it for solo / co op content, and it would be particularly scummy to release the game with an advertised ability pulled out.
I just hope they only stopped it temporarily while they have a big panic about how to reinstate it a bit more sensibly (in their eyes).

Seems to be the case - previously I was not able to have them award either as even the non-mastery ones would not track, and nor were the steam achievements active.
And yes, in Solo / Co-op.

Can just about confirm this to be the case. I went into a MP game again god help me and got a couple kills then left to check and yup those counted. Yet in Solo it’s completely stuck.
So my guess is they stopped bot progression temp to try and remove those bot xp farms but unknowingly completely * screwed it up for about 1/3 their player base. I really do have to hope they’re well aware and will fix it for us soon before global launch or they’ll just y’know... tell us to * off like V
