I am experiencing the exact same problem. I have the necessary amount of kills to unlock specific attachments for the base assault rifle, and the kill counter shows I have the necessary amount of kills, except the attachment is still "Locked" and says I need to "Unlock Mastery Level 1." Pretty frustrating.
i just cant get over that no ea staff has responded yet but theyre responding to the other threads
Yeah, the real worry here is the silence.
They might be running down the clock on our eligibility to get a refund.
Might be for the best to get a refund now and then buy the game again, if and only after they fix it.

Actually the game joking us. As example i have plenty of kills with the SWS-10 and should unlock at minimum the first mastery skin. Unfortunately when i go in the skin section it calls that i have 10/30 kills for the first skin but (now comes the great but) for the t1 mastery skin it calls that i have 50/1200 kills. So at my opinion this is a very great bug (also that they removed the balistic shield from dozer) that should fixed before early acces. Now all of the player that payed more for the early access are just some kind of unpayed beta testers who payed for testing -.-
EA should give all of the players who have early access an compensation. Maybe this could come in form for extra skins for all specialists, weapon or /and vehicles.
But this will (for my experience) never happen ☹️
Really sad what EA do to us players who returns to BF after that long break they took.
It‘s the same thing like Anthem. Great Advertisments, great promises but in the end theres nothing just like real players that „fixed“ the game with still playing it for a long time that EA could step by step debugging it.
It‘s just demoralizing ☹️
