grabbed this from a support ticket since no one from @EA could be bothered to answer here. Looks like its unintentional and they seem to be treating it as same severity as all the other bugs in game. we may get our progression back sometime before release if we are lucky... I don't know what I expected... giving EA my money in 2021 like some sort of idiot...

well I purchased the 90 dollar gold edition to gain early acess to AI bot matches so I could play with my friend and it only counted 8 kills and has not counted anything in mastery since friday

Thank you for letting us know. We have identified an issue with that tracking and we have the Battlefield games team looking into the issue as we speak. There should be a fix in place as soon as they can get one.

Right now we are just playing it by ear, there are quite a few bugs with this release that are being worked on, but this one is for sure one of them and we're working to get the game on a good track.
