Some people are saying it's intentional, specifically a community manager on steam, and someone at EA gave a copy/paste answer earlier on of a tweet from the Battlefield Twitter, but that's about it...
Whether it's intentional or not, it can't be like this lol. The progression either needs to be brought back, or limited to bots of Intermediate difficulty or higher.

Don't expect patches sooner than the normal launch day.
Well, actually, it's worse than that. Tom Henderson is always a good source of info on anything Battlefield.
Don't know about the XP issue specifically though, they might do something on the backend.
Look on the bright side. At least Nvidia released new "Launch Day" drivers last night.
Haven't tried them yet to see if they make a difference, it's just a waste of time for me to play if I can't level up the guns.

Well, no matter what, I'm determined to keep this thread alive even so. I want them to see this post as much as possible, so that they can see just how much people this is affecting, and how we're not okay with it. They're already doing little fixes here and there, like dozer's shield, so it's not like they're completely doing nothing.
I'm confident they will help us out eventually, they have to, especially with the big launch on Friday. We just need to keep this at the top of the bug page...

and we have another day, a day that I don't think will be any different from the others, a day full of silence and waiting for a miracle, I'm starting to get really upset, for me it's not about the money we spent here but about approaching us as paying customers, quite honestly I think that the day patch will not fix our problem and if it is true what we can see on the screen we will wait until November 30, it is completely unacceptable for me and I hope for you, I'm starting to think about that I will demand a refound, I'm not a beta tester and not at all beta tester who pays to look for their mistakes and shortcomings in their game, why do we honest players have to suffer because of a few idiots who can't play honestly? we don't get answers or information so why we actually paid when they treat us like there's no problem and they can't even say a word just copy / paste one answer, absolutely ridiculous

I just loaded up BF for one game to test the new drivers and I used the SMG for a bit (I only play multiplayer). Funnily enough, got one attachment, don't have the time to test any more now, will see if I can open some more.
On another note, I didn't notice any improvements with the new drivers, frames even seem lower. And just FYI, my system is pretty decent. I play on a 32" 2K monitor @240hz, the rig is a 5800X, 16gigs, 3080.
Game still feels very sluggish to me both in motion and in mouse input. I even tried some of FR33TH's tweaks along with some other things I saw on Reddit and I think I'm just gonna stop playing till I hear that something has improved.
And again, omg those fokn footsteps drive me crazy. Tik tok tik tok people running all over the place. What the hell?
