@Jesse165 Hi Jesse, which avenue did you go to request a refund? I tried to call Xbox Support but was advised that I could only request it via the online refund method.

Did you have luck any other way?

@DespicableDoz I chose a different support option to enable the online chat but when it asked for my real problem right before that chat started I gave it my real problem.

The one who answered understood the problem perfectly and gave me the full refund. At this point I honestly won't be surprised if they make a big announcement for allowing refunds for everyone like they did for CyberPunk 2077.

Microsoft and the Xbox department take these sorts of problems a lot more seriously than you might think. Its why I like them 🙂

  Obligatory speech about how Battlefield was a franchise which could have lasted for a huge span of time and had endless great instalments until they ruined it again.
  How long do we have to be angry before the thread is hot enough to toast my marshmallows on?
  I wonder what the trigger will end up being to actually get their attention - I doubt these days even refunds bother them.

    Lol can't believe EA are just hours from officially releasing BF2042 to the majority of its customers and they've not even bothered to give a statement that a huge portion of the game is going to be locked away from them. Can't wait to see this.
