Ok, it is working as intended. It was a little confusing the screen I was looking has the battle pass level as well as the weekly mission requirements. We all know you can't get in Solo, so it wouldn't show progression for those anyway. But I did progress in the free tier on the battle pass.
I'm unlocking stuff now in the battlepass but progress towards the battlepass missions, the assault rifle kills, helicopter flew etc is not tracking. Is that intentional?
- 4 years ago@GenoshaONE7FIVE That is what was confusing, that is the weekly mission unlock requirement.
- 4 years ago@GenoshaONE7FIVE Same for me. It’s only tracking xp.

Yup it would appear only XP is counting and not the weeklies. Beyond pathetic @PartWelsh your other comms members do a better job than you do. You don't deserve to be called a leader.

Full progress still locked for the 1000s of people who bought this for the solo/coop experience they sold us on...at this point they just stole our money and don't care

I'm on PS5, gold edition owner, always SOLO/CO-OP mode, Premium is active: in one match I ranked up to level 5 of Gamepass. Still no ribbons or weekly unlock. Ranking up to level 6 seems difficult due to very low amount of XP for match, and the new As-Val is at level 16😞

So I've played a few more solo rounds, and I'll need to correct my previous statement. The assault rifle kills, helo distance and play conquest are part of the battle pass. And you do not earn any progression to earn points for those in solo, only your XP counts. That really sucks, those other challenges give you 4 points, earning 2500 XP gives you 1 point. So If you're only playing solo, it will take you forever to progress in the battle pass.

I'm still baffled at how DICE/EA is treating their AOW Solo/Coop modes, even after all this time. The biggest nail in the coffin for me was how you can't complete weekly challenges, and how you couldn't earn ribbons.
Not to mention, how boring and repetitive it gets. They didn't even give us the options to play on 128 player maps, or randomize the teams each games. It's always US for every map, except Orbital, on conquest...
And it's not like you can use Portal to change this, since Progression is completely locked for all user created experiences (except minimal amounts of XP)
The craziest thing too, is that I actually thought this game was somewhat decent, and I was willing to stay with it, despite all of it's many flaws, but not being able to play what was advertised to me, made me drop 2042.
And so here we are, at Season 1, with STILL nothing done about it, and no communication...

@boleje73Approx. 250 matches in PvE (if you figure 4 bp points per match. Average PvE match is about 30 minutes I think?...so thats about 125 hours play time, give or take.
I think they need to at least cut those hours in half by allotting double the points to the bp in solo/coop. You shouldn't have to play more than 60 hours per season to unlock all the crap you've paid for. Not everyone is an unemployed psycho child of 15 who plays 40 hours per week afterall.
Playing 5 hours per week for 12 weeks consecutively sounds reasonable, to me. I dont play everyday, nor do I intend to start now.

Great! We have rewards to unlock till season 2 of 2045!
- 4 years ago@BigShottt It would be, but there just isn't enough content for me I think to keep me interested. All my weapons/vehicles are at or close to hitting the level 12 mark, I'm basically using ones I normally wouldn't even play with, just to feel some sort of sense of progress.
