No, or at least i did not notice that.
But now, although I didn't set a password, I m still issuing no ribbons.
Edit: tried a game in AoW SOLO MODE... it gives still ribbons but it's unplayable!! Low fps, glitch, some new bugs.
In portal my personal experience are all ok.
Player and Mastery XP are moderate (yellow) and ribbons and weekly's are blu/green.
The point is that, with or without a password, sometimes I get ribbons and sometimes i don't. Till yesterday everything was ok.
My hope is that's a problem related to their servers and they will fix that soon.
