Proximity chat would be cool in smaller games like the weekly events or control. 8v8, 12v12, or 16v16 anymore then that it will just become problematic. More so, if everyone doesn't know everyone not saying all games will be an issue.
Same goes for VOIP. EA or Dice whoever is in charge needs to have everyone's mic defaulted to on in the next update. This game needs more teamwork like the previous titles. All chat should also be defaulted on. There have been countless times my team has asked me who am I talking to lol.
There should also be something like bigger squads or 8 players 8x8 = 64. At least a trial run, this would totally enhance strategic teamplay. Being able to switch between squads just to talk to would be cool, but then there's chat for all that too.
