Proximity voice chat

Hi,

Wouldn't it be great and fun? Ofc it would have downsides too. Anyways, optional choice. If you are interested of idea or find bad sides, should post here.

Would probably improve teamwork

Would find maybe new friends

Would surprise enemies with goofs

Biggest negativity would be toxicity.

Discuss.

Yes, depending on where someone comes from, Crisps would be the word. 👍

I didn't mean, what in some parts of the english speaking world might be called French Freedom Fries.

Ight, many fair points. How about i narrow it and also level it up a bit.

Context: I think it brings more awareness in game. We have squad voip, but for example, there are pushes with bulk of people. You can give calls for more around you. But again, there is that salty part.

For leveling up: Vehicle comms. Again, would and should be optional. There are some slots in vehicles and there might come more damage to vehicle when players that are on board has no idea what to look fot and what class to use. And again, boosts awareness for reps and enemy positions. (Caw, hind, cat, tank, ac.). Just an idea. But again, saltiness is gonna be problem.

  • Whilst it would be great to hear others, just imagine on redacted when there's 40 players spamming nades in a corridor, it would be so annoying hearing everyone at once, I think proximity chat only really works in battle royale games, just my thought
